Indian Railways is planning to develop the Bina-Katni 3rd railway line project in Madhya Pradesh. The project is estimated to cost Rs. 29170 million. The proposed line will facilitate the travel and that the thermal Power Plants in the area will get 3rd line for transportation of their products, besides easing increasing freight traffic between Bina-Katni section thereby increasing the revenue of Railways. The project with a length of 278.7 km is expected to be completed in five years.
