National Highways Authority of India is planning to take up four laning of Binjhabahal to Telebani section, km 414.000 to 491.710 (design chainage km 414.982 to 493.300) of NH-6 (New NH-49) . The project is estimated to cost Rs.10080 million. As of June 2016, NHAI has invited bids for executing the project under NHDP-IV, on Hybrid Annuity Mode.
