South East Central Railway is taking up a project for laying the third line from Pendra Road to Anuppur section (50.10 km) of Bilaspur division. As of June 2016, RITES , the consultant for the project has invited bids for construction of earthwork in formation, bridges & structures, P.way, shifting/provision of electrical/S7T utilities and other allied works for the project. The cost of the project is estimated at Rs.1400.8 million. The project is to be completed within 30 months.
