Sunvik Steels is expanding its steel plant at Jodievarahalli village in Tumkur district in Karnataka by installation of induction furnace. The proposed expansion envisages Sponge Iron Plant ( 90,000 TPA), Captive Power Plant (10 MW), WHRB (3 x 11 TPH), FBC (1 x 35 TPH), induction Furnace (36,000 MTPA (12 MT)), Rolling Mill (100 TPD (12 MT). . As of June 2016, environment clearance for the project is underway.
