Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals is planning to set up a Synthetic Organic Chemical Plants in Bharuch district of Gujarat. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 21438.7 million. The proposed capacity of the project is Chlor-Alkali (800 TPD), Coal Based Captive Power Plant (120 MW), Chlorotoluene (205 TPD), Chlorinated Paraffin Wax (100 TPD). As of July 2016, environment clearance for the project is underway.
