Uttam Value Steel has signed Rs.10,000 million investment deal with Tidfore Heavy Equipment Group Co Ltd, China for Wardha Expansion Project undertaken in conjunction with POSCO. The investment would be for deploying fine ore reduction process and CEM technologies at the company's Wardha plant in Maharashtra. Post completion, Wardha Steel Complex will become an integrated steel unit with capacity of 1.50 million tonnes per annum. As of August 2016, work on the project has just commenced.
