Indian Railways is planning to take up construction of third line between Ballarshah and Kazipet at an estimated cost of Rs.20630 million. The 201.04 km long railway line is expected to be completed in five years. As of September 2016, Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has given approval for the project.
