Godavari Cellulosics is planning to set up a Speciality Chemical Plant facility at Vagra in Bharuch of Gujarat. The proposed plant would manufacture Sorbic Acid/Potassium Sorbate, 1, 3 Butylene Glycol, Acetaldehyde, Crotonaldehyde, Ethyl Acetate, Cellulose Acetate, Acetophenone, Acetonitrile etcl with a total capacity of 6475 TPM. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2500 Million. As of September 2016, environment clearance for the project is proposed.
