Indian Rare Earths is planning to set up a Titania Slag Plant by using ilmenite produced at OSCOM plant located at Chatrapur, Ganjam District, Odisha. The proposed plant will have a capacity of 100,000 TPA. As of September 2016, the company has invited expression of interest bids for setting up the project on Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (BOOT) basis.
