'Essar Ports is planning to develop three iron ore berths at the Visakhapatnam port. In June 2013, the company won the bid for mechanisation and operation of three iron ore berths at Visakhapatnam Port, which will have a combined capacity of 23 million tonnes per annum. The company expects to achieve financial closure in January 2014.
