Hindustan Copper is setting up an underground mine project at its existing opencast mine at Malanjkhand in Madhya Pradesh. The project has received environment clearance in June 2013 and few other clearances from central government is still awaited. The mine is estimated to have 141 mt copper bearing ores and the targeted depth is 300 metres.
