Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals is planning to set up a 50,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) poly aluminium chloride (PAC) plant at Dahej. The plant would utilize hydrochloric acid (HCL), which would be a by-product of its upcoming polyurethane intermediate toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) plant at the same location. As of October 2013, the company has invited Lump-Sum Turn Key (LSTK) offers for setting up the plant.
