Super Smelters is planning to increase the manufacturing capacity at Jharkhand. The project involves installing a 2 x 12 Tonnes Induction furnace to produce 110,000 tpa of billets and rolling mill to produce 100,000 tpa of TMT bars in the first phase. The second and final phase will also have a similar capacity. As of October 2013, the project is under implementation.
