UJVN has revived the 120-Mw Vyasi project in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The project was originally conceived in 1986 was abandoned in 1991 in the undivided Uttar Pradesh. Now the project has been taken up for implementation. As of October 2013, UJVN has roped in National Project Corporation Limited (NPCC) for building the power house and selected Gammon for the construction of the dam.
