Velankini Renewable Energy's Relong Hydro Power Project

Velankini Renewable Energy is planning to develop the 126 MW Relong hydro power in Teesta River near Relong village in South Sikkim District of Sikkim. The project envisages construction of 54 m high concrete gravity dam across Rangit river (a tributary to Teesta River) near Relong village in South Sikkim District of Sikkim to generate 126 MW of hydropower.
