Bihar State Power Transmission Company is planning to take up construction of substation at Sonenagar (new) in Aurangabad district of Bihar. The grid substation will have connectivity with Gaya 400/220 kV grid substation (PGCIL) by 220 KV D/C transmission line and with Sonenagar's existing 132/33 kV grid substation by 132 kV D/C line. As of October 2013 bids have been invited.
