Siyom Hydro Power , a subsidiary of Reliance power is planning to set up a 1000 MW hydro power unit in Siyom n the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The Detailed Project Report was submitted to the Central Electricity Authority in September 2010, its was tentatively approved by CEA in March 2011 and was advised to revise the civil/E&M design of the project . As of October 2013, the project is still awaiting clearance from CEA and is expected to get the same shortly.
