Alex Industries is planning to increase pigment and other inorganic products capacity at Bharuch district of Gujarat. The project involves manufacturing products like Ammonium Sulphate (100 MTPM), Pigment Beta Blue (600 MTPM), Magnesium Carbonate (100 MTPM), Ammonium Chloride (127 MTPM), Precipitated Silica (90 MTPM), Pigment Beta Blue (100 MTPM), Pigment Red-122 or Pigment Violet-19 (10 MTPM), Pigment Green-7 (50 MTPM), Pigment Violet-23 (10 MTPM), Calcium Chloride (90%) (40 MTPM). As of November 2013, the project is awaiting environment clearance from state pollution control authorities.
