National Highway Authority Of India is planning to take up two laining highway between Kanaktora-Jharsuguda in Orissa. The project involves improvement from 0.0 km to 68.00 km in Kanaktora-Jharsuguda section upto two-lane with paved shoulder including bypass at Belpahar 52nd km of NH-200 from 197.300 km to 265.300 km including bypass at Belpahar 249th km of NH-49 in the state of Orissa under NHDP-IV. As of December 2013,. request for proposal bids have been invited.
