Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority is planning to take up construction of a bridge linking the Eastern Express Highway and LBS Road to Bandra-Kurla Complex. The bridge that will cross River Mithi as well as Central Railway's main and harbour lines, will be erected between Chunabhatti and MTNL junction in Bandra-Kurla Complex. As of December 2013, MMRDA is planning to invite bids for taking up construction.
