National Highway Authority of India has reported progress on its highway project in UP. The project involves widening of NH-232 to two lanes with paved shoulders from Tanda to Banda in Uttar Pradesh. The work will be executed by NHAI on EPC basis and will be completed in two packages -- Tanda to Raebareli and Raebareli to Banda. As of January 2013, Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the investment proposal
