Tehri Hydro Development Corporation is planning to set up a super thermal power project in Uttar Pradesh. As of December 2013, the company has signed an initial agreement with Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC) for transfer of 1,200 acres of land to set up the project.
