Karnataka Public Works Department is planning to take up rehabilitation and upgradation of Kerala Border to Kollegala section of NH-212 from 136.600 km to 268.475 km, excluding the stretch from 239.600 km to 241.520 km (1.92 km) to two-lane with paved shoulder under NHDP, Phase-IV in Karnataka, on EPC mode. As of January 2013, bids have been invited.
