IL&FS Transportation Networks is planning to develop a multi-level car parking facility at Gandhinagar in Gujarat. A new company in the style of GIFT Parking Facilities has been floated jointly by Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Company and IL&FS Transportation Networks for setting up the project. As of January 2014, IL&FS Transportation Networks has been awarded the project for design, development, finance, construction, operation and maintenance of 16-level car parking which with a capacity of around 5,400 cars including retail space at the ground floor on build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) basis.
