National Highway Authority Of India is planning to take up four laning of Kazhakuttam-Inchivila (NH-66) highway section in Kerala. The project involves implementation of 2 sections - 26.50 km of Kazhakuttam-Mukkola section and 16.50 km of Mukkola-Kaliyikkavila section. Majority of the land for the project has been acquired. As of January 2014, the Public Private Partnership Appraisal Committee (PPPAC) has cleared the investment proposal.
