National Thermal Power Corporation is planning to set up an ultra mega power at Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. As of January 2014, the project is awaiting land allocation from the Andhra Pradesh government. Once it gets land for the project, all the necessary clearances will be taken up.
