UJVN is planning to take up renovation, modernisation and upgradation of Chilla power station, with 4 x 36 MW capacity. As of February 2014, the company has invited bids for dismantling, reverse engineering, design, manufacturing and supply of new equipment, refurbishment of old equipment, pre-commissioning test, commissioning of electrical and mechanical work, and TRCM and post commissioning works etc, on turnkey basis.
