Attunli Hydro Electric Power Company, a subsidiary of Jindal Power is planning to set up a the Attunli Hydroelectric Project (HEP) on Tangon River in Dibang valley district of Arunachal Pradesh. The proposed development envisages construction of a diversion structure/dam upstream of Apanli village, 130m downstream of the Kachi nallah confluence with Tangon river, underground desilting chambers, about 7915m long headrace tunnel, pressure shafts and underground powerhouse complex near Attunli village. As of February 2014, environment clearance for the project is underway.
