National Thermal Power Corporation is planning to set up a1320 MW thermal power project at Kajra in Lakhisarai district of Bihar. The project would be a joint venture of NTPC, Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd (BSPGCL) and Lakhisarai Bijlee Company Pvt Ltd (LBCPL) . As of February 2014, NTPC signed an MoU with both the parties for setting up the project.
