Odisha Hydro Power Corporation is setting up the Hirakud Hydroelectric Project at Burla in Sambalpur district of Orissa. As of February 2014, the company has invited bids for design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of two sets of new turbine and generator in Unit-V and VI (2 x 43.6 MW) with related auxiliaries required for the project.
