Amhata Hydro Energy is planning to set up a hydro power project in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. The project comprises a total of four units. Unit-I will be of two MW, and Units-II, III and IV will be of 3.8 MW each. As of March 2014, the company is in the process of achieving financial closure for the project. The land acquisition is underway and the company is waiting for the necessary clearances from the state government. Work on the project will commence from October 2014
