Anil Bioplus is planning to increase its capacity of calcium and sodium gluconates by setting up a greenfield plant at Halol near Vadodara in Gujarat. Calcium gluconate is used as a source of calcium in veterinary and nutraceutical applications while sodium gluconate is used in construction and chemical industries. As of March 2014, the project is in the planning stage.
