NHPC has reported progress on its 800 (4 x 200) MW, Tawang Stage-II, hydel-based power unit, in Arunachal Pradesh. As of March 2014, the company has invited bids for construction of tunnel and related works, construction of head race tunnel, surge shaft, pressure shaft, underground powerhouse, tail race system and pothead yard and other related works.
