West Bengal State Electricity Transmission is planning to take up transmission line project in West Bengal. The project involves setting up a 132 kV D/C transmission line from Dharampur-Titagarh section and 132 kV D/C transmission line from Gokarna-Berhampur section. As of April 2014, bids have been for replacement of the existing conductor by HTLS conductor I.R.O. in two packages namely Dharampur-Titagarh 132 kV D / C transmission line of route length of approx 27.52 km and Malda WBSETCL-Malda PGCIL 132 kV D / C transmission line of route length of 5.73 km.
