Government of Jharkhand is planning to take up development of a stretch from Kandra to Ichagarh via Khunti under Seraikela-Kharsawan road division in the state. The project envisages widening and fortification of a nine km stretch from Kandra to Ichagarh via Khunti. As of May 2014, the investment proposal has been approved.
