NHAI is planning to take up development of Chas-Ramgarh section of NH-23 in Jharkhand. The project involves upgradation and augmentation of the existing carriageway to two lane with paved shoulders standards with construction of new pavement, rehabilitation of existing pavement, construction and / or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains etc, and maintenance of the project during the defect liability period. As of June 2014, bids have been invited to take up the work.
