Nivea India, a manufacturer of cosmetic products is setting up a greenfield facility at Sanand near Ahmedabad. The proposed plant would manufacture three product categories namely body lotion, deo sprays and the men's category. The project also involves setting up a research and development (R&D) centre for product development and innovation in packaging to make the product more economical. As of June 2014, pre project activities are underway.
