Energy Development Company is setting up a 43 MW Tsachu-I Hydro Electric Power project at Tawang district in Arunachal Pradesh. The power generated from the power project would be evacuated through a 220 KV transmission line and would be fed to the nearest pooling station and then connected to Nykrongchu-Tawangchu line as LILO circuits. . As of September2014 the environmental clearance for the project is underway.
